Gastroenterology

The gastroenterology refers to the science that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of the organs in the regions called the digestive tract canal. The mentioned areas are the esophagus, small and large intestines, breech region, gallbladder and tract, liver, pancreas and abdominal wall. In other words, all organs other than the kidneys are the area of interest of gastroenterology. For the diagnosis and treatment of diseases occurring in these organs, the methods of the mentioned branch of science are used.
